Thank you for your interest in Castle Boerboels.

We are very proud of our true working Boerboels. Not only do we have some of the best qualities of the breed; good health, optimal temperament, we actually work the ranch with our boerboels. Each of our Boerboels have been carefully chosen and lovingly raised as part of our family in our home to work the ranch.

We let our puppies go to their new homes between 8 – 10 weeks of age providing each one is growing steadily and is cleared by our veterinarian as healthy and ready for travel. Before leaving our home, they will have first vaccinations, been de-wormed, tails docked and micro-chipped. You will receive a NABBA birth certificate, Castle Boerboels swag, and of course a complete vaccine and health record with your puppy.

As responsible breeders who care deeply for our dogs, puppies and the Boerboel breed; we are committed to finding the best homes for our puppies. Please honestly answer the questions below. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the number of puppies our girls will have or the gender of the puppies. What we can guarantee is that the puppies will be loved and nurtured right along with our own dogs. They will receive the same quality care and devotion here that we expect they will be able to depend and thrive on when they reach their new homes.

CARE AND FEEDING OF YOUR BOERBOEL

In order to adhere to our contract, maintain your limited Health guarantee, and ensure the health and safety of your new family member, the following guidelines must be followed. This will ensure your puppy grows properly and stays healthy (also keep you out of the vets office )

1. Your puppy has been weaned on Diamond Puppy (purple bag). Starting at 9 weeks, they are slowly weaned onto Diamond High Energy Adult (Green and red bag).

Feed puppy 3 times a day – 1 cup each meal (this will gradually increase as they grow).
Week 1- ¼ of feeding is Adult and 3/4 puppy food
Week 2- ½ of each food
Week 3- ¾ Adult and ¼ of puppy
Week 4- Adult only

2. Pups must get supplements-ALTERNATE between the two. Never give both the same day!

A. Unrefined Coconut Oil ½ tsp (I buy from Walmart)
B. Salmon Oil ½ tsp

3. Flea/tick/Mosquito Prevention- monthly – TOPICAL ONLY no edible flea/tick preventions beside Heartguard for heartworms.

4. Dewormings-every 6 months

I will send links/pictures for each product to make it easier. I suggest you get these items before you receive your puppy so you are set up and ready to go!
